Brick & Mortar

Shoe Garden will be located in the neighborhood where our target customer resides. The store will be in a central business district conveniently located in walking distance from all residences in the surrounding neighborhoods. Shoe Garden’s brick and mortar location will offer a selection of shoes identical to what is offered on our online channel. Customers will be greeted by a colorful window display enticing them to step inside. Once inside the customer can maneuver around Shoe Gardens simple to navigate, grid floor plan. By having a brick & mortar store apart of our omnichannel strategy, it will ensure that customers have the opportunity to try on shoes that they have seen possibly on social media before purchasing in-store or online. A brick & mortar store is essential to enhance the overall customer experience for Shoe Garden.

WHY?

“Shoe retailers have taken forward strides despite a challenging retail market. Sales for the Shoe Stores industry have sizably outperformed most other traditional apparel-retailing industries.” (Hurley, 2016)
